Art, Architecture + Design
University of San Diego Graduate, 2016
Bachelor of Arts, Major in Architecture
During my painting course at University of San Diego, I fostered new creativity teaching me many developmental benefits along the way. Besides the love for painting from a young age, it is both constructive and enjoyable which allows me to gain an immesurable job from seeing a finished piece.

By learning to paint, it allows one to gain a skill in which they can be proud of it. It gives me a foundation to look at the world with the confidence they can accomplish a goal. Painting also has given me a sanctuary for when I become stressed. Turning to paint to lose myself in the brush strokes, it begins to create a soothing place to turn to.

The right side of the brain is used for emotional and creative responces, while the left side of the brain focuses on analytical processes and logic. Painting helped me understand and make the connection between the two sides, which is how we reach our full potential. Being involved in painting helped me as well, gain a lifelong appreciation of art, which opened me up to a world of artistic expression.

Expressing myself through painting allows children to take part in an activity that is fun and fulfilling.
