My structure contains slight and gradual movements throughout the site. The stairs are large, and the risers are short. The steps size are so large they appear monumental. The structure gradually turns, continuing the movement with the walkway of the Horton Plaza. There is also a slight decline underneath the structure, creating more of a walkway underneath the building. The box of glass outside that shapes the structure above the stairs allows for light, and it opens the space. It helps create an inside theater as well as an outside theater below. The hatching on the ground helps create a walking direction for the public allowing people to walk under the surface as well as around and through it.

Placed on the public pavilion of Horton Plaza in the downtown district of San Diego, such a structure could host concerts, forums, protests and social gatherings. With a large backdrop for projections or billboards, this pavillion is easily seen to the common pedestrian or fellow businesses. With the heavy flow from the booming shopping center next store, this area gives a relacing space, carefully designed to flatter the needs of the visitors.
